dear stranger-friend,
years ago, I choose this artist life as the only way to live true to myself, and my calling.
this meant: being very very alone, attuning to my inspiration, and constantly juggling the paradigm of making money vs. making art. it meant cultivating an extreme tolerance for instability; living on little, and still feeling rich. I’ve learned to derive fulfillment from the creative act itself - rather than anything external — money, validation, or recognition.
in the journey, I’ve channeled my energy into other things: building websites, teaching courses, being a creative guide.
but in the end, my deepest calling is to create — to give form to the energy that moves through me; to all the worlds that I see, and ways of existing that I discover.
