out of the rabbit hole

I drew this image last month for my brother’s 27th birthday. when we were children, I picked out a pink stuffed rabbit for him at Walmart, and we spent the following years having adventures with her, the three of us — everyday. now that I’m in my 30s and my friends around me are having children, I’m thinking of the power and expansiveness of a child’s imagination, and, alone in an empty house, what wonderful worlds we created together.
