moda park | istanbul travel deck, card no. 2
this is card no. 2 in my Istanbul travel deck. my white colored pencils are less than ideal, so the next ones will be digital.
today, I was debating between drawing 1 card per day, or all of them, in a frenzy/flow sprint over 24-48 hours. the creative high that you get definitely comes more from a longer sprint — however, there’s also the comfort of turning to the same theme/collection as my daily visual practice.
Moda Park — notes
a waterfront park wrapped along the asia side of Istanbul
categories: sea & trees, waterfront, open space
experiences: watch the sunset, sit there on the rocks until it gets dark, and watch the ships pass, eat snacks. there will be crowds of people on the weekends, but the park is long and meandering and spacious. I like Moda in all seasons.
nearby: Moda Park Tea House. one tea is 50TL, but you pay for the views.
