between light and shadow

recently I’ve come to realize, again, how I live in the space between darkness and sunrise; between light and shadow. but there is no compromise — no neutral, safe grey — there is only two opposing extremes, seemingly in conflict, as if engaged in an eternal war. the answer is simple; it is just hard to practice: be spacious enough to hold — all of it, everything. find grace in the extremes. in both the brilliance of the sun, and the darkness of the moon. find light in the dark, and dark in the light.
