a manifesto for world-building on the internet | h.webs.school

this manifesto is part of house on the webs school, which i’ve been working on obsessively over the last two weeks.

you don’t belong in a box. your dreams can outgrow your resume. you don’t need to dice yourself up into bite-sized, palettable pieces. your work is more than a showroom. you are more than the sum of your parts. you have nothing to prove.

your website can feel like a home you inhabit, slowly. a garden of growing things. an evolving ecosystem. a gift for strangers. an ongoing conversation. it can be a place where you allow yourself to show up, unapologetically, as you. you can be complex, multi-faceted, non-linear, changing. you can be brave.

so, give yourself permission to take up space. create spaces that hold. connect. speak your truth. carry a vision.

if you could build that infinity place on the webs, what would it look like? what will you plant? what do you need to say?
